Kathy Smaltz is crowned Prince William County’s Poet Laureate for 2016-18.
The Prince William County Arts Council has named Kathy Smaltz of Nokesville Prince William Poet Laureate for 2016-18.
Smaltz received the honor at “SummerFest” a community event, held Saturday, at Tackett’s Mill in Lake Ridge.
The “SummerFest” event was co-sponsored by The Prince William Arts Council and the Clearbrook Foundation.
Tacketts Mill Center and many of its shops took part in the event.
