Speak Into Existence Open Mic is more than a performance—it’s a welcoming, community-centered space for creative expression and connection. This family-friendly open mic invites performers and audience members of all ages to share poetry, spoken word, music, comedy, storytelling, and more, or simply enjoy the show.
Guests are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, talk about their creative projects or businesses, and engage with fellow artists in an inclusive environment. The evening also celebrates the birthday of host Kim B. Miller.
Kim B. Miller is a TEDx Speaker, award-winning poet, and the 2021–2023 DMV Renaissance Awards Haikuist of the Year, as well as the 2019 Southern Fried Haiku Champion. Learn more at kimbmiller.com.
